Vacation Rental Ordinance-New Requirements

Milton Township requires a license to operate a vacation rental (short term rental)

New requirements effective this year:

• Licenses are required to be renewed annually and expire December 31^st of each year, with renewal applications due the month of October.  Be sure to reapply to operate in 2023 if you have not already done so.
• All owners are required to maintain a log of renters for 3 years indicating renters name, renters contact information,  dates of rental, and have that log available for the Township when requested.
